Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 2 July 2026
1. Cancelling an order
- Customers can cancel an order free of charge any time before it is dispatched (status Placed, Confirmed or Packed) from the "My Orders" page.
- Once an order is out for delivery, cancellation is at the seller's discretion.
- Sellers may cancel an order they cannot fulfil; repeated unjustified cancellations can lead to removal from the Platform.
2. Refunds
- For cash-on-delivery orders cancelled before delivery, no money changes hands.
- Where the customer has already paid the seller (e.g. UPI), the seller must refund within 7 days of a valid cancellation or accepted return.
- Defective, unsafe, expired, or materially-not-as-described items must be refunded or replaced by the seller — this is a statutory right under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) and equivalent laws elsewhere.
3. Returns
- Return windows for non-defective goods are set by each seller and shown in their catalogue or on request.
- Perishable food items are generally non-returnable unless defective or wrong.
- Hotel bookings and services follow the cancellation terms the seller states at booking.
4. Disputes
If a seller does not honour this policy, raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (see the Grievance page). We will acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within one month, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. You may also approach your local Consumer Commission or consumer-protection agency at any time.
